After seeing Gem's amazing work at Nigel's twin's wedding and one of our best friend's weddings, we knew as soon as we got engaged that Gemma had to be our photographer! We got married abroad in Mykonos and asked Gem if she would travel to the Island with us. We are so in love with the photos! Gemma absolutely captured the feel of the wedding and the Mykonos Island vibe perfectly. Not only do we love the photos but we really enjoyed having Gemma as part of our day. She was extremely calm and warm and I loved having her around whilst getting ready. I think it is really important to have someone you connect with and feel comfortable with as they are with you all day. Gemma had the perfect balance of being a pleasure to have around and being discreet (I didn't even know there was a camera there throughout the day!) I was also extremely fussy about the type of photos I wanted and myself in photos! Gemma took all of this on board, took our ideas, gave amazing suggestions on the day and created the exact type of images we wanted. The pre and post aftercare has also been great. We will treasure our incredible photos forever!

Choosing Gem as our photographer was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. On the day itself, Gem was fabulous. I didn’t realise how much time you spend with your photographer on your wedding day, so it was lovely to have someone whose company we enjoyed! She did a wonderful job of unobtrusively capturing our day and fitted in like a dream with our friends and family. It was more like having an extra guest taking photos. Getting the full set of images back was incredibly special – every image was so lovely and she’d captured so many gorgeous moments of our friends and family. Sensitively taken and beautifully edited by a genuinely talented and creative photographer who was also lovely person with bags of enthusiasm for our day – the prefect package! Having such beautiful photos that we love so much is such a wonderful memento of our day. It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are to Gem for that!

Wow, we are so glad we chose you! We got married in Seville, Spain, and had previously spent months searching on the internet for a good Spanish photographer. Once we saw Gem's photography style and portfolio, our decision was made and we were grateful that Gem was just excited to travel out to Spain with us! On the day she helped to keep everyone calm and relaxed, and was a very welcome addition to the party, we received lots of comments about how lovely our photographer was! It was like having another friend there. She totally understood the vibe of the wedding, the location and the photos we wanted. She worked so hard all day and we hardly knew she was there. Capturing the atmosphere of our wedding day in an informal and creative way was essential when we were choosing our photographer and so I am so glad we found Gem who nailed this brief completely. From our first meeting she fully understood what we were looking for and spent time getting to know us and our vision for our wedding day. On the day, Gem felt more like an extension of the wedding party – a pleasure to have around and so calm and relaxed. I’m amazed at how Gem managed to capture so many lovely images of our friends and family and whenever I look over the images they take me right back to that day. Gem was amazing from the moment we met her, she was so warm and friendly she really made us feel at ease, and even gave us a few tips and brought a few things to our attention we wouldn’t have thought of otherwise (and I’m a wedding planner in my day job!). Throughout the day she was discreet and professional, we hardly even noticed she was there. The main part though is, I cannot tell you how happy we are with our photos! Gem captured every detail, every smile, laugh, tear, it was so wonderful to relive the day when we got our photos back! She captured all the bits we missed and more - as well as all of the important bits, of course. I’m not particularly photogenic either, but Gem's photos are beautiful. Her style is perfectly modern, fun, and so not cheesy. If I could give anyone one piece of advice, don’t scrimp on your wedding photography; your wedding lasts a day, but your photos last a lifetime – and hire Gem, you won’t regret it!

Photography was absolutely one of the most important aspects of the wedding for us. We had a very specific idea in mind – relaxed, fun and colourful and when I stumbled upon Cotton Candy on a Google search I knew straight away we had to have Gem as our photographer. We paid to fly her over to France and it was so worth it, we were speechless when we got our photos. They really reflect how special the day was to us and we can’t stop looking at them and remembering all the moments from the day.

Just Perfect! Choosing Gem was easy. From the start her professional yet relaxed approach, along with simply stunning photos meant that we had to have her. The film touches of the Holga and Polaroid cameras hit all the right buttons too. We simply love our photos and we just can’t stop looking at them! She perfectly captured our day, from the big wow moments to the small little details. Some how, she managed to capture so many really special moments with all their emotion and energy, yet this was done in a really unobtrusive way. Everyone we show the photos to is so impressed. It's almost impossible to pick our favourites - We love them all! What a dream, thank you a million times over.

Wow! I cannot thank you enough for the photos, or tell you how much we love them. They are truly stunning! Ben and I spent two hours looking at them all last night, and I have got home from work and started looking at them again straight away! You captured the day perfectly, I love the bits that I didn’t get to see – everyone arriving, Ben’s shots, the reception, little snippets of people during the speeches!
