My name is Gemma, I have been a full time wedding photographer since 2010. I married my best friend Adam in 2015 and we live in Southsea with our beautiful daughter Rae and our awesome dog Busby.

I got into wedding photography following my masters in Digital Marketing and Design. What was my final dissertation at university became my full time job, it was all a bit too good to be true and I’ve not looked back since!

I love that I get to meet all sorts of people and become a part of a couple’s amazing day, meet their families and hang out with their friends – to be able to tell your story.

My approach is relaxed and fun. I want you to feel comfortable around me like you would one of your friends. I don’t want to get in the way too much or make you do anything you don’t want to do. I want to document your day as naturally as possible – there may be some suggestions I can throw your way here and there if wanted / needed but otherwise I just want to capture you both having the time of your lives on what will be one of the best days of your life.

I would say that my images are natural, soft and feminine but with a creative and arty sort of edge. I love focusing in on little details – the hands, the flowers, the little touches here and there. I will provide you with a set of images that document your day, your way. Your guests and family having a good time – the fun, the banter, the laughter, the tears and all the amazing moments in between that make your wedding day so special and unique to you.
