Osea Island Wedding Photography / Gemma & Adam – Preview
Intimate wedding on a private island
Saturday’s wedding took place on an island off Essex …Yep, an island off Essex! It’s a private island called Osea Island that you can only visit by invitation or by booking an overnight stay there. What makes the island even more special is that you can only access it for 4 hours a day before the tide comes along and hides the long winding road that links it to the main island, you will also need to know the access code!
Due to Osea Island’s remote location Gemma & Adam made a full weekend of their wedding and guests arrived on the Friday for a BBQ and then the wedding itself took place on the Saturday back on the main land in Gemma & Adam’s home town of Maldon.
Armed with two retro style buses guests were transported from the island to All Saints Church in Maldon for the service, then onto the beautiful Le Bouchon Brasserie for the wedding breakfast and speeches and then onto the Oakhouse bar for drinks and dancing, and lastly back to the island for the evening and first dance.
Here is a little preview of their day ~
